Özet

Tourism demand is among the important topics of the tourism literature, which is frequently\rresearched by researchers. Periodically examining the research quality and development\rprocess of the studies on the subject is considered very important, as it is valid for many\rscientific fields. For this reason, the aim of the study is to bibliometrically analyze the\rnational level master's and doctoral theses carried out between 1994-2021 within the scope\rof tourism demand. In this study, bibliometric analysis method was used to analyze\rnational-level postgraduate theses on the subject according to various parameters.\rAccording to the results of the research, it has been determined that the number of master's\rtheses produced within the scope of the subject is higher than the doctoral thesis, and the\rfactors affecting tourism demand and/or touristic demand forecasting are the most\rdiscussed subject. In addition, it has been revealed that quantitative research methods are\rmostly used in theses, secondary data is used as a data collection tool, and researches are\rgenerally carried out on data sets based on secondary data.
