In this work, we dealt with the vigilance as a human upbringing system in the Qur'an. Our work consists of three parts. In the first part, we produced God's vigilance over the servants from the sky to ground through His names/attributes that mean vigilance. In the second part, we treated servant's vigilance over God from the ground to the sky as part of some consepts. In the last part, vigilance's function as a human upbringing system was searched.

Birinci kısımda,Kuranda murakâbeyi ifade eden Allahın isimleri/sıfatları doğrultusundayukarıdan aşağıya Allahın kullarını murâkabe etmesini ortaya koyduk.İkinci kısımda, bazı kavramlar çerçevesinde aşağıdan yukarıya kulların Al- lahı murâkabesini işledik. Son kısımda da, murâkabenin bir insan yetiştir- me düzeni olarak fonksiyonunu inceledik.

In this work, we dealt with the vigilance and hypocrites' vigilance concept. Our work consists of three parts. In the first part, we determined what the scope of vigilance is. The word of vigilance (murâqaba) is a noun originated from r-q-b verb in the Arabic. This verb in adictionary means monitoring, watching, and controlling. In this context, the literal meaning of the word is to know that a servant is supposed to be aware of that Allahknows and sees his own situation in every moment. Continution ofthis knowledge and consciousness is to makemurâqaba (vigilance) of Allah. In the second part, we dealt with the vigilance with its two kinds in the Qur'an broadly. These are Allah's vigilance over servants and vise versa. We handled the previous one around Allah's ar-Râkîb (Vigilant) name, which means monitoring every thing, and some other names likeel-Âlîm (The Knower), el-Hâfiz (The Preserver) and el-Basîr (The All-Seeing) having close meaning to the previous. We have developed the latter one within the Quranic frame ofreason, knowledge, piety, remembering Allah, thanks and prayer we called them as the instruments of vigilance. Through all the concepts, servants make murâqaba of Allah. In the final part, the behaviors of hypocrites about vigilance was handled. Making murâqaba of Allah is a phenomenon belonging to the believers in Allah and what He sent without a doubt. Due to lack of having been sincere belief, hypocrites made muraqaba over people instead of Allah.Nevertheless, always using their practical intelligence, they tried to cover their real intentions by claiming of opposite arguments.

The language is a multidimensional phenomenon and includes many lingual elements. One of that is metaphor. As the Qur an descended to human beings in their languages, it carris in its structure truth and metaphor. For that reason, it is very important to determine if the words in the Qur an are used in truth or metaphor meaning. In this process, we believe that knowing the context in which the Qur an s verses decended is very important. In this essay, we handled this matter in detail presenting with concrete examples.

This study deals with the verse 26-30th of the sure al-Qiyamah with a new view in the light of contemporary researches. In the introduction of the study, it was given general informations about subject. In addition, it was emphasized on the feeling of immortality that every human being has. Before founding the subject, we explained the field meaning of death term. In the founding of subject, first, we put in order the stages of death that was presented in the contemporary researches. These stages have two dimention; the stages that use the dying people and the relatives of deads. Second, in the light of determinations that was presented in these researches, we brought a new dimention to the verses 26-30th of the sure al-Qiyamah.
