Ashyralyyev, Charyyar
This paper addresses estimation of the solution of inverse problem for the elliptic type equation with second kind boundary conditions and Neumann-type overdetermination at the interior point. We prove various estimates for the solution of this identification problem. Then, the first order accuracy stable difference scheme is studied. The stability, almost coercive stability, and coercive stability inequalities for its solution are obtained. The theoretical results can be applied to investigate identification problems for multidimensional elliptic equation with different kind of boundary conditions.

Approximation of Dirichlet type overdetermined multidimensional elliptic problem with Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions are discussed. A third order of accuracy difference scheme for its approximate solution is proposed. The stability, almost coercive stability and coercive stability inequalities for the solution of constructed difference scheme are established. Test example for a two-dimensional elliptic problem is presented.

In this study, we discuss well-posedness of Bitsadze-Samarskii type inverse elliptic problem with Dirichlet conditions. We establish abstract results on stability and coercive stability estimates for the solution of this inverse problem. Then, the abstract results are applied to three overdetermined problems for the multi-dimensional elliptic equation with different boundary conditions. Stability inequalities for solutions of these applications are obtained.

Kaya, Ayberk; Alemdağ, Selçuk; Dağ, Serhat; Gürocak, Zülfü
The objective of this study was to examine the effects on the stability of slope debris of planned slope excavations around the vicinity of Gumushane Imam-Hatip High School in NE Turkey. To assess the geotechnical properties of slope debris along the determined cross-sections, four exploration boreholes with a total length of 100 m were drilled and undisturbed soil samples were collected. Slope debris is composed of two soil zones and its depth varies between 15 m and 21 m. It was determined from the experimental results that the soil class of the upper zone is CL (low plasticity clay) and CH (high plasticity clay) whereas the soil class of the lower zone is SC (clayey sand) and GC (clayey gravel). Peak cohesions of the upper and lower zones were 26.3 kPa and 10.2 kPa, and their peak internal friction angles were 16° and 24°, respectively. Limit equilibrium (LE) analyses for the slopes were evaluated using Slide v5.0 software for the pre-excavation, post-excavation, and supported cases. The results of LE analyses showed the existence of a landslide along the SW direction; the landslide would extend to cover the whole region if the excavation were to be performed without applying engineering measures. Finally, the precautions to be taken were determined and stability analyses for the supported case were evaluated. These analyses showed that the active lateral forces applied by the proposed retaining walls to the cut slope should be 8325 and 3103 kN, respectively.

Ashyralyev, Allaberen; Emirov, Nazar; Cakir, Zafer
We study initial-boundary value problems for fractional parabolic equations with the Dirichlet-Neumann conditions. We obtain a stable difference schemes for this problem, and obtain theorems on coercive stability estimates for the solution of the first order of accuracy difference scheme. A procedure of modified Gauss elimination method is applied for the solution of the first and second order of accuracy difference schemes of one-dimensional fractional parabolic differential equations.

Ashyralyyev, Charyyar
The overdetermination problem for elliptic differential equation with Dirichlet boundary condition is considered. The third and fourth orders of accuracy stable difference schemes for the solution of this inverse problem are presented. Stability, almost coercive stability, and coercive inequalities for the solutions of difference problems are established. As a result of the application of established abstract theorems, we get well-posedness of high order difference schemes of the inverse problem for a multidimensional elliptic equation. The theoretical statements are supported by a numerical example.

Ashyralyev, Allaberen; Ashyralyyev, Charyyar
The boundary value problem of determining the parameter of an elliptic equation -u(t) + Au(t) = f(t) + p (0 ≤ t ≤ T), u(0) = φ, u(T) = ψ u(λ) = ξ 0 < λ < T, with a positive operator A in an arbitrary Banach space E is studied. The exact estimates are obtained for the solution of this problem in Hölder norms. Coercive stability estimates for the solution of boundary value problems for multi-dimensional elliptic equations are established.

In this paper, we examine a fractional order Vallis systems. We also fulfil a detailed analysis on the stability of equilibrium. Multi-step differential transform method (MsDTM) extends to give approximate and analytical solutions of a fractional order Vallis systems. Numerical simulations are submitted to verify the validity and reliability results obtained from these methods.

Tanriverdi, Ebru Sandal; Özcan, Mehmet Musa; Juhaimi, Fahad Al
In this study, peppers and potatoes were fried in olive and peanut oils. In order to evaluate the oxidative stability of frying oils, essential oils of sage, rosemary, thyme at the concentration of 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 %, separately and 0.01 % butylated hydroxytoluene were added into olive and peanut oils. Chemical properties of frying oils (free fatty acid %, peroxide value, DPPH, total phenolic and fatty acid composition) were determined after frying. Butylated hydroxytoluene showed the best effect on free fatty acid % and peroxide value of olive oils after frying of peppers and potatoes. Free fatty acid % values of frying oils of peppers and potatoes showed variation. The nearest values of oleic, linoleic and linolenic acid contents of frying olive oils of peppers and potatoes were determined with sample addition of butylated hydroxytoluene. Oleic, linoleic and linolenic acid contents of peanut oil with butylated hydroxytoluene and potato frying oil that addition of 0.3 % rosemary essential oil were determined to nearly the initial value of oil. These essential oils were also determined to show high radical scavenging effect. Rosemary essential oil was determined higher the radical scavenging effect and lower total phenolic compounds than thyme essential oils. There were not exact a relationship between radical scavenging effect and the amount of total phenolic compounds. The aim of current study is to establish to the effect of some spice essential oils on the stability of frying oils.
