Hekimlerin çocuk ihmal ve istismar vakaları ile karşılaşma durumları, bildirim yükümlülükleri ve eğitim gereksinimleri: Gümüşhane örneği

Geçmişten günümüze toplumun en temel yapı taşı aile olarak kabul edilmektedir. Aile, çocuğun ilk eğitim aldığı yer olması açısından aileye farklı sorumluluk ve görevler yüklenmektedir. İşlevlerinde aksamaların gerçekleştiği aileler sağlıksız aileler olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Sağlıksız ailelerde çocuğa yönelik ihmal istismar gibi çocuğun fiziksel ve ruhsal bütünlüğünü bozacak durumlar gerçekleşebilir. Bu durumlar şiddet, cinsel içerikli davranışlar ya da çocuğun onur ve haysiyetini zedeleyici söylemler olarak karşımıza çıkabilmektedir. Sosyal hizmet mesleği çeşitli dezavantajlı gruplarla çalışsa da bunlardan en önemli olanlardan birisi çocuklar olarak kabul edilmektedir. Multidisipliner bir çalışma alanı olan sağlıkta da çocuğa yönelik tıbbi, psikolojik ve sosyal olarak müdahale alanları bulunmaktadır. Koruyucu ve önleyici hizmetlerin yanı sıra çocuk istismarı ve ihmalinde ilk müdahale eden meslek grupları içerisinde yer alan hekimlerin bu alanla ilgili bilgi, beceri ve deneyimlerinin bulunması son derece önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; Gümüşhane İlinde görev yapmakta olan hekimlerin çocuk ihmal ve istismar vakaları ile karşılaşma durumları, bildirim yükümlülükleri ve eğitim gereksinimlerinin tespit edilmesi, ayrıca sağlık eğitimi alan ve insan anatomisi ve fizyolojisi üzerine yoğunlaşan hekimlerin toplumsal sorunlar, yasal sorumluluklar ve insan psikolojisine yönelik farkındalık düzeylerinin ölçülmesidir.

In unhealthy families, situations such as neglect of the child and abuse may ocur that will disrupt the physical and mental integrity of the child. These situations may appear as violence, sexually explicit behaviors or statements that harm the honor and dignity of the child. Although the social work profession works with various disadvantaged groups, one of the most important ones is considered to be children.. Health, which is a multidisciplinary field of study, also has medical, psychological and social intervention areas for the child.. In addition to protective and preventive services, it is extremely important that doctors, who are among the first responders in child abuse and neglect, have knowledge, skills and experience in this field. The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to determine the situations of encountering child neglect and abuse cases, notification obligations and training needs of physicians working in Gümüşhane province, as well as to measure the awareness levels of doctors who receive health education and focus on human anatomy and physiology, about social problems, legal responsibilities and human psychology.
