Özet

Important relations were established between Ottoman Empire and the Hungarian and the Poland was in 1849 – 1851. Many Hungarians and Polish took refuge to Ottoman Empire during those years. There was an intensive diplomacy about those refugees between Ottoman Empire and Russia, Austria, England and France. The centre of that diplomacy was İstanbul. Letters of Polish Czaykowski who resided in Ottoman territories at that time give significant information about the matter of refugees and diplomatic progress. Czaykowski could easily negotiate with Ottoman statesmen. Also Czaykowski became a Muslim in 1849 and he was given a name Mehmed Sadık Paşa. Mehmed Sadık became a trustworthy diplomat in İstanbul. When Paşa was in İstanbul, he wrote many letters. Those letters include satisfactory information about relations between Ottoman Empire and Russia, Austria, England and France
