Telekomünikasyon şirketinde çalışan işçilerin mesleki risklerinin iş güvenliğine etkisi (Trabzon ili örneği)

Bu çalışmanın amacı Telekomünikasyon işçilerinin mesleki risklerinin iş stresine etkisini belirlemektir. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte olan çalışmanın evrenini Ekim-Kasım 2022 tarihlerinde Trabzon ilinde faaliyet gösteleren Telekomünikasyon şirketinde görev yapan işçiler (n=132 kişi) oluşturmuştur. Herhangi bir örneklem yöntemi seçilmeden tüm işçilere yapılması planlanmış ve hepsine ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri; araştırmacı ve danışman tarafından literatür incelenerek oluşturulan personellerin sosyodemografik özellikleri, çalışma ortam faktörleri, uygulamalarında karşılaştığı riskleri, iş güvenliği, iş sağlığını değerlendirmeye yönelik sorular ile İş Güvenliği Ölçeği sorularından oluşan anketin personelin dinlenme saatlerinde yaklaşık 20 dakika süre içinde direkt gözlem altında uygulanmasıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans, ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, Varyans Analizi, Mann Whitney U testi, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis ve korelasyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına alınan işçilerin İş Güvenliği Ölçeği puan ortalaması 118.07±14.88 olarak bulunmuştur. Eğitim durumu lise ve altı olanlar, saha ortamında çalışanlar, haftalık 45 saat üzeri görev yapanlar, kişisel koruyucu donanım (KKD) kullananlar, iş kazası geçirmeyenler, birimi ile stres düşünmeyenler, mesleğinin geleceğini umutlu görenler, çalışma arkadaşları ile ilişkisi çok iyi olan telekomünikasyon işçilerin iş güvenliği yüksek bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada araştırma kapsamına alınan işçilerin, araştırma yapılan telekomünikasyon şirketi iş güvenliğini sağladığı bulunmuştur. Şirket yöneticileri tarafından işçilerin verim düzeyini artırmaya yönelik motivasyon çalışmaları düzenlenmelidir.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of occupational risks on work stress of telecommunication workers. The population of the descriptive and cross-sectional study consisted of workers (n = 132 people) working in the Telecommunication company operating in Trabzon between October and November 2022. It was planned to apply to all workers without choosing any sampling method and all of them were reached. Data of the research; The survey, which consists of questions about the socio-demographic characteristics of the personnel, working environment factors, the risks they face in their practices, occupational safety and occupational health, and the Occupational Safety Scale questions, which were created by the researcher and the consultant by examining the literature, were administered under direct observation for approximately 20 minutes during the personnel's rest hours. Frequency, mean, standard deviation, t test, Analysis of Variance, Mann Whitney U test, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis and correlation tests were used to analyze the data. The average Occupational Safety Scale score of the workers included in the research was found to be 118.07±14.88. Those who have an education level of high school or lower, those who work in the field environment, those who work more than 45 hours a week, those who use personal protective equipment (PPE), those who have not had a work accident, those who do not think of stress with their unit, those who see the future of their profession as hopeful, those who have a very good relationship with their colleagues, those who work in telecommunications security was found to be high. In this study, it was found that the telecommunication company in which the research was conducted ensured the job security of the workers included in the research. Motivational activities should be organized by company managers to increase the productivity of workers.
