Gümüşhane Üniversitesi Sosyal Hizmet Bölümü öğrencilerinin sosyal hizmet bölümünü tercih nedenleri

Eğitim, bireyin doğduğu andan itibaren hayatına giren ve ölene kadar hayatında yer alan bir süreçtir. Önce ailede başlayan eğitim, daha sonra düzenli (formel) eğitim olarak okullarda verilmektedir. Gerek Dünya'da gerekse ülkemizde her bireyin eğitim serüveni bu şekilde gerçekleşmektedir. Türkiye'de eğitim sistemine bakıldığında, okul öncesi eğitim ile başlayan bu süreç, lisansüstü eğitim olarak ifade edilen yüksek lisans ve doktora eğitimleri aşamasına kadar sürmektedir. Sırasıyla ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kurumlarını başarıyla tamamlayan her öğrenci, istediği takdirde yükseköğretim aşamasında üniversite eğitimi alabilmektedir. Bunun için Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavına girerek gerekli olan başarı sıralaması ya da puanı elde eden öğrenci, tercihleri doğrultusunda yerleşecekleri bölümlerde üniversite eğitimlerini almaya hak kazanacaklardır. Üniversite ve bölüm tercihlerini başarı sıralaması ya da sınav puanlarına göre yapacak olan öğrenciler için bu tercihleri etkileyen ve belirleyen birçok faktörden bahsedilebilir. Bu tez, üniversite tercihi yapacak öğrencilerin tercih nedenlerini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın konusunu, Gümüşhane Üniversitesi Sosyal Hizmet Bölümünü tercih eden öğrencilerin tercih nedenleri ile tercih öncesi ve tercih sonrası karşılaştıkları durumlar oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin üniversite ve bölüm tercihlerinin nedenlerini analiz etmek üzere hazırlanmış anket sorularında üç başlık üzerinde durulmuştur. Öğrencilerin üniversite ve bölüm tercih nedenleri, tercihi etkileyen faktörler, tercih nedenleri ve tercih sonrası yerleşilen bölüm hakkında düşünceler başlıkları altında incelenmiştir. Üç başlık üzerinden öğrencilere yöneltilen anket sorularından elde edilen veriler bağlamında değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.

Education is a process that enters the life of an indiyidual from the moment she is born and takes place in her life until she dies. The education that starts in the family first is given in schools as regular (formal) education. When we look at the education system in Turkey, which starts with pre-school education, continues until the graduate and doctorate education stages, which are expressed as graduate education. For this, the student who enters the Higher Education Institutions Exam and obtains the required success ranking or score will be entitled to receive university education in the departments they will be placed in according to their preferences. There are many factors that affect and determine these preferences for students who will make their university and deparment preferences according to their success ranking. This thesis aims to investigate the reasons for the preference of students who will choose a university. In this context, the subject of the study is the reasons for preference of the students who prefer the Social Work Department of Gümüşhane University and the situations they encounter before and after the choice. In line with this purpose, three topics were focused on in the survey questions prepared to analyze the reasons for the university and department preferences of the students. Students' reasons for choosing a university and a department were examined under the headings of factors affecting the choice, reasons for preference, and opinions about the department that they settled after choosing
