Finansal okuryazarlık: Kayseri ili serbest muhasebeci ve mali müşavirleri üzerine bir araştırma

Çalışma, Kayseri İlinde faaliyet gösteren 102 Serbest Muhasebeci ve Mali Müşavir'in finansal okuryazarlık düzeylerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın genel amacı ise finansal sistem dahilinde bulunan meslek elemanlarının finansal okuryazarlığa verdiği önem ve finansal okuryazarlığın sistemdeki yerinin tespitine ışık tutmaktır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler, literatür bağlamında oluşturulan anket vasıtasıyla elde edilmiştir. Veriler SPSS 20.0 Sosyal Bilimler İstatistik Analiz programında analiz edilmiştir. Serbest Muhasebeci ve Mali Müşavirlere uygulanan anket demografik bilgileri tanımlayan ifadeler ile finansal okuryazarlık düzeyini ölçer 13 sorudan meydana gelmektedir. Araştırma neticesinde belli niteliklere sahip Serbest Muhasebeci ve Mali Müşavirler arasında finansal okuryazarlık düzeyinde farklılıklar tespit edilmiş olup söz konusu farklılıkların en dikkat çekicisi ise mesleki deneyimin artması ile finansal okuryazarlık düzeyinin de artış göstermesidir. Bunun yanı sıra cinsiyet ve eğitim durumuna bağlı olarak finansal okuryazarlık düzeyinin anlamlı şekilde değiştiği gözlenmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Finans, Finansal Bilinç, Finansal Okuryazarlık.

Research as a result of identified differences in the level of financial literacy among accountants and Financial Advisors with certain qualifications and professional experience of the aforementioned differences the most striking is to increase with the increase in the level of financial literacy.
