Application of Multi-Criteria Decision Making in Health Care Field: A Literature Review

Health care is a vital importance for the society as well as play an important role in improving the welfare of the society. The purpose of this study is to present a detailed comprehensive literature review of the Multi-criteria Decision Making techniques (MCDM) in health and health care. The literature review was conducted with the help of relevant keywords on five different international databases. The findings show that Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is the most widely used technique as well as the most widely used integrated techniques are Analytical Network Processbased (ANP-based).
