  Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Hayvan Hakları ve Sokak Hayvanlarına İlişkin Tutumlarının Sosyal Hizmet Perspektifinden İncelenmesi

  Bu çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin hayvan haklarına yönelik tutumlarının çeşitli demografik değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve sokak hayvanları sorununa ilişkin görüşlerinin sosyal hizmet perspektifinden ele alınması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel yöntem ve genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Türkiye’nin 19 farklı ilindeki ön lisans, lisans ve lisansüstü öğrenim düzeyindeki 493 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların belirlenmesinde basit rastgele örnekleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu ile Hayvan Haklarına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada, cinsiyet ve düzenli olarak sokak hayvanlarını besleme ile hayvan haklarına yönelik tutum arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, üniversite öğrencilerinin hayvanların refahı konusunda yürütülen kamu hizmetlerini yetersiz bulduğu, hayvanların tamamen toplanıp barınaklara götürülmesi veya uyutularak öldürülmesi gibi alternatif yöntemleri onaylamadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, hayvan hakları ve refahına yönelik mevcut uygulamaların yetersizliğini ortaya koymuştur. Katılımcı bir anlayışla belirlenecek kapsamlı ve sürdürülebilir politikaların hayvanların refahına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

  Evaluation Of Social Workers' Expertise Practices From Judges' Perspectives

  Forensic social workers work as experts in the investigation processes and courts within the judiciary and influence the judicial decisions with their expert knowledge. The main purpose of this research is to examine the expertise of forensic social workers from the perspective of judges. 60 judges working in the judiciary participated in the research. In the collection of research data, a questionnaire consisting of 13 questions prepared by the researchers was filled in face-to-face interviews and answers were sought. In the research, which was designed as a survey model research, the answers obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 21 package program and the data were analyzed in the form of frequency distributions. According to the results of the research; juveniles in need of protection, juvenile delinquents, custody arrangement, establishment of personal relations, violation of obligations arising from family law, adoption and guardian It has been found that the opinions and evaluations of the forensic social workers are sought in the appointment of experts and that forensic social workers are inadequate in various aspects while fulfilling their expert duties

  Söylemek Mi Gizlemek Mi? Çocuk Mağdurların Cinsel İstismarı Açıklamalarını Etkileyen Faktörler

  Çocuklukta cinsel istismar, büyük bir topluluk endişesi konusu olan ve birçok yasal ve profesyonel girişimin odağı haline gelen karmaşık bir yaşam deneyimidir. Küresel bir halk sağlığı sorunu olan çocuk cinsel istismarının, ruh sağlığı ve psikososyal işleyiş üzerinde olumsuz ve uzun süreli etkileri olduğu ve bu istismar türüne maruz kalanların yaşamları için travmatik sonuçları bulunduğu literatürde çeşitli çalışmalarda vurgulanmaktadır. Bu nedenle çocuğun maruz kaldığı istismarı açıklaması; koruma ve adalet sisteminin çocuk koruma prosedürlerini uygulamasını sağlamak ve terapötik müdahaleyi başlatmak üzere kritik bir rol oynamaktadır. Ancak çocuklar ve gençler maruz kaldıkları cinsel istismarı çoğunlukla gizlemeyi tercih eder, bu da istismarın devam etmesine neden olur ve çocuğun destek sistemlerine erişimini engeller. Bu sebeple açıklamanın önündeki engellerin ve kolaylaştırıcıların ayrıntılı bir şekilde anlaşılması, alanda çalışan profesyoneller ve araştırmacılar için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu literatür incelemesi çocukların cinsel istismarı ifşa etmesine yönelik bilgilere, kuramsal yaklaşımlara ve araştırma bulgularına odaklanmaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada alanda çalışan uzmanlar ve araştırmacılar için pratik çıkarımlar ve öneriler sunulmaktadır.

  Understanding Child Abuse and Neglect: An Ecological Approach

  Child abuse and neglect has been a concern for professionals working in the field of mental health, especially in recent years. In the relevant literature, there are several approaches to understanding child abuse, identifying the risk factors that lead to abuse, and preventing child abuse. Unfortunately, these approaches often insufficient to understand and eliminate a complex social problem such as child abuse. According to the ecological approach, child abuse occurs as a result of the interaction of a large number of factors, not a single acting effect. This model, which provides a systematic framework for conducting research and practices on abuse, is the most comprehensive model that contributes to understanding child abuse and neglect. In this study, the phenomenon of child abuse is evaluated within the framework of an ecological model, and in this context, practical recommendations are presented to experts working in the field at the macro, mezzo and micro level.

  Investigation of the Knowledge Level of Social Work Students about Child Abuse and Neglect: The Case of Gumushane University

  As one of the problem areas of the profession of Social Work, child abuse is a case that requires comprehensive review and urgent decisions, including preventive interventions, treatment and rehabilitation, legal intervention. In order to make the most beneficial decision for the child in this process, social workers must have adequate knowledge and equipment in all these areas. The aim of this study is to investigate the level of information about child abuse and neglect of students in the Department of Social Work of Gümüşhane University. The study was conducted in accordance with the descriptive survey model of quantitative research methods. A total of 314 students were educated in the Department of Social Work of Gümüşhane University during the 2018-2019 academic year. Survey data were collected by face-to-face survey method. As a result of the research, the total score average of the students was taken from the scale for child abuse and neglect symptoms and risks determined and the mean scores obtained from other sub-scales indicate that there is a deficit about the subject. Also, it was found that students’ information level about diagnosing the signs and risks of child abuse and neglect, did not differ according to sex and income level; but it was determined that students' information level differ significantly based on their age and place of residence. The findings are discussed in the light of literature information.

  Sosyal hizmet bölümü öğrencilerinin özgecilik özellikleri ile damgalama/stıgma eğilimleri arasındaki ilişki

  Bu araştırmanın amacı sosyal hizmet lisans öğrenimine devam eden öğrencilerin damgalamayailişkin eğilimleri ile özgecilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma kesitsel biraraştırmadır. Araştırmaya 138 sosyal hizmet bölümü öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerkişisel bilgi formu, damgalama ve özgecilik ölçekleri ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS paketprogramında analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre; cinsiyete göre damgalama ölçeğinin alt boyutlarıpuan ortalamalarının anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı; erkeklerin ayrımcılık ve dışlanma, etiketleme,psikolojik sağlık ve ön yargı puan ortalamalarının kadınlardan daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.Katılımcıların yaşları ile özgecilik ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından yardım etme boyutu ile düşük vepozitif anlamlı ilişki olduğu (r=0,220, p<0,01), sınıf düzeyine göre özgeciliğin yardım etme(F3;134= 23,613; p< 0.01) ve bağışçılık (F3;134=14.305 ;p<0.01) alt boyut puan ortalamalarınınanlamlı farklılık gösterdiği, katılımcıların annelerinin eğitim durumuna göre özgecilik ölçeğininyardım etme boyutundan aldıkları puan ortalamalarının anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıştır(F2;135=3,86;p<0,05). Katılımcıların özgecilik ile damgalama ölçeklerinin toplamından aldıklarıpuanlar arasında negatif ve düşük (r=-0,192,p<0,05), damgalama ölçeğinin alt boyutlarındanayrımcılık ve dışlanma ile özgeciliğin alt boyutu yardım etme arasında negatif ve düşük düzeydeanlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur (r=-0,180,p<0,05). Sosyal hizmet bölümü öğrencilerinde özgecidavranışların arttırılması ve damgalama eğiliminin önlenmesine yönelik çalışmaların yapılmasıgerekmektedir.

  Investigation of Childhood Abuse Experinces of High School Adolescents According to Sex, Income Level and Parental Education Status

  This study aims to investigate the childhood abuse experiences of adolescents’ who are educated in the different types of high schools in terms of their gender, income level and parental education status. The study group for the research consists of 703 students who are studying at different types of high schools; 383 of which is girls (54.3%) and 321 of which is boys (45.7%). The data was collected by using a personal information form prepared by researchers and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. In data analysis, SPSS 22.00 was used; Kruskal Wallis test and Mann Whitney U test analysis techniques were applied. It can be concluded that the average sexual abuse scores of males were found to be significantly higher according to the girls' sexual abuse average scores and the average of males' emotional abuse scores were significantly higher than the girls' emotional abuse score averages. It has also been found that emotional abuse from childhood traumatic experiences varies based on income level. It was found that childhood traumatic experiences did not differ according to parental education status. The findings are discussed in the light of literature information. It is thought that the results of this research will contribute to the determination of the cases of childhood abuse experiences of the adolescents and to plan the preventive activities in this context.
