Merdan, Mehmet; Şahin, Yasin
The primary objective of the paper is to employ the Aboodh transformation to solve Caputo-Fabrizio ordinary fractional differential equations. Furthermore, the methodology described is used to solve some common fractional differential equations. Analyzed using the Aboodh Transformation Method are random ordinary differential equations derived by randomly picking the coefficients or initial conditions of Caputo-Fabrizio fractional ordinary differential equations. The initial conditions or coefficients of the equations are converted into random variables distributed according to Normal, Uniform, and Exponential distributions. The probability characteristics, including expected value, variance, coefficient of variation, and confidence interval, of the random ordinary differential equations solved are computed using the MATLAB (2013a) package software. The acquired results are then shown and discussed.
- MakaleAçık Erişim2023On Existence and Uniqueness of Some Fractional Order Integro-Differential Equation
Cona, Lale; Bal, Esmahan
In this study, a sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of some fractional order Integral-Differential equations is obtained. Therefore, the fixed point method is used to solve the differential equation problem involving nonlinear degree integrals. In addition, the results found is supported by examples.

Çoruh, Emine; Öztürk, Ömer Faruk
The aim of this study is to design a 10.500 meter bicycle path for the use of a bicycle as a means of transportation in Gümüşhane city center. A bicycle route has been identified considering the characteristics of the city and its current transportation network. The design of bicycle paths and the cost of application projects were prepared throughout the selected route. Also, a face-to-face survey was conducted covering the city center and the university campus. It has been tried to learn the opinion about the cycling habit of public, benefits of cycling and the obstacles to cycling in the city within the scope of the survey. According to Chi-square and Phi-Cramer's V tests the results of the survey, significant relationships were found between the gender of participants and cycling, the education level of participants and cycling, and the definition of cycling. The cost of designed bicycle path construction is 2.740.900 Turkish Liras (TL) and was found about three times less than the cost of a single lane highway. As a result, it was found that cycling is healthy, safe, economical, environmentally friendly and easily reachable. These characteristics of cycling show that cycling for sustainable transport is one of the most important solutions to urban transportation problems.
- MakaleAçık Erişim2019Antibacterial Activity of DMSO Extracts of Selected Plants Against Antibiotic Resistant Clinical Isolates
Düzgün, Azer Özad; Saral, Ayşegül; Kardil, Uğur
In this study, we aimed to find out new herbal materials that are able to inhibit the growth of the P. aeruginosaand E.coli clinical isolates that has antibiotic resistance. Clinical isolates used in this research are E. coli (n=1)and P.aeruginosa (n=1). Antibiotic susceptibility profiles of E. coli and P. aeruginosa were determined usinge-test. Plants were collected in Trabzon region of Turkey are Calendula officinalis, Hypericum perforatum andGlycyrrhiza glabra. DMSO were used as solvent and solid-liquid extraction was employed. Micro-dilutionmethod was preferred fo the determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). MIC results wereobtained through observation of turbidities. According to E-test results, while P. aeruginosa was resistant topiperacillin, piperacillin/tazobactam, meropenem and ceftazidime, E. coli was resistant to piperacillin, cefotaxime and ceftazidime. DMSO extract of Calendula officinalis showed very strong activity against PA1with the best MIC (5 mg/mL). DMSO extract of three plant had lower MIC values (5-10 mg/ml) for EC1 andPA1 than ampicillin. In future studies antibacterial activity of different solvents extracts of these plants andother plants against antibiotic resistant clinical isolates will be examined. Natural products from plants arepromising in fighting with antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
- MakaleYalnız künye2017The Investigation of Anti-Bacterial Susceptibilities of doped Oxide Coatings on Grade-2 Titanium Alloys Coated By Micro Arc Oksidasiyon (MAO) Process
Sukuroglu, Ebru Emine
This work; Focuses on improving the surface properties of the Cp-Ti (Grade-2) titanium alloy, which can be used as biomaterial, with the MAO method and imparting anti-bacterial susceptibility. The antibacterial effect of silver is intended to be imparted to the Cp-Ti (Grade-2) titanium base materials coated with the MAO method. For this purpose, the structural properties of the coatings were analyzed using SEM, XRD and EDS instruments. In vitro antibacterial efficacy assays for bacterial susceptibility testing and bacterial adhesion were performed using bacterial crystal violet markers. The susceptibility of the coatings against to Staphylococous aureus (S.aureus-ATCC 29213) bacteria that has high adhesion was investigated. In the study, it was determined that the silver-containing coatings had a weaker bacterial susceptibility than the silver-free coatings and that the uncoated samples were more sensitive to bacterial contamination
