Çalışmada Türkiye İBBS-1 Sınıflandırmasına göre 12 istatistiki bölgenin T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı Sağlık İstatistikleri Yıllığı verileri kullanılarak sağlık hizmetlerine ulaşılabilirlik düzeyleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemlerinden birisi olan, TOPSİS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to İdeal Solition) yöntemiyle, Microsoft Excel yazılımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar incelenen kriterlerin ana başlıklarına bağlı değişmekle birlikte, sağlık hizmetlerine ulaşılabilirliği en yüksek bölgeler; Mortalite başlığında; Doğu Karadeniz, Batı Anadolu ve Batı Marmara, Sağlık hizmetleri Kullanımında; Batı Karadeniz ve Batı Marmara, Koruyucu Sağlık Hizmetlerinde; Batı Marmara ve Batı Anadolu, Sağlık Alt Yapısında; Akdeniz ve Batı Anadolu, Sağlık İnsan Kaynağında; Batı Anadolu ve Acil sağlık Hizmetlerinde; Doğu Karadeniz Bölgeleri olarak sonuçlanmıştır. Sağlık hizmetlerine ulaşılabilirlik düzeyi en düşük olan bölgeler ise; Mortalite Başlığında, Güneydoğu Anadolu, Orta Anadolu ve Kuzeydoğu Anadolu, Sağlık Hizmetleri Kullanımında; Ortadoğu Anadolu, Güneydoğu Anadolu, Koruyucu Sağlık Hizmetlerinde; İstanbul, Kuzeydoğu Anadolu ve Ortadoğu Anadolu, Sağlık Alt Yapısında; Güneydoğu Anadolu ve Ortadoğu Anadolu, Sağlık İnsan Kaynağında; Güneydoğu Anadolu ve Acil Sağlık Hizmetlerinde ise; İstanbul olarak tespit edilmiştir.</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="en">Availability or access to health services are concepts related to the extent to which a society can benefit from the health services it demands.
