Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışma grubunu Türkiye’nin farklı illerinde görev yapan 218 beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama sürecinde Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Çok Boyutlu 21. Yüzyıl Becerileri Ölçeği ve Marmara Yaratıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler IBM SPSS istatistiksel (versiyon 27) paket programında analiz edilmiş, betimsel istatistikler, Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Analizi ile basit ve çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin hem çok boyutlu 21. yüzyıl becerileri hem de yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri açısından yüksek düzeyde puanlara sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Korelasyon analizi sonuçlarına göre, çok boyutlu 21. yüzyıl becerileri ile yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmaktadır. Çoklu regresyon analizi sonuçları, yaşam boyu öğrenmenin gerekliliklerinden olan kariyer bilinci ile girişimcilik ve inovasyon becerilerinin yaratıcı düşünme eğilimlerinin anlamlı yordayıcıları olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Buna karşın eleştirel düşünme ve problem çözme ile sosyal sorumluluk ve liderlik becerilerinin yaratıcı düşünme üzerinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı etkisinin bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir. Basit doğrusal regresyon analizi sonucunda ise çok boyutlu 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin yaratıcı düşünme eğilimlerindeki varyansın %21’ini açıkladığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, çağdaş öğretmen yeterlikleri ile yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında güçlü bir bağ bulunduğunu göstermekte ve öğretmenlerin 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin geliştirilmesinin yaratıcı düşünmeyi destekleyebileceğine işaret etmektedir.The aim of this research is to examine the multidimensional 21st century competencies of physical education teachers. In conclusion, it demonstrates that there is a strong connection between contemporary teacher competencies and creative thinking tendencies, and that teachers in the 21st century.
