Particularly the mayors, by sharing more than one post in social networks, provide information about their municipality with the people of the region, i.e. their target audience. Kazım Kurt, who came to power after the municipality elections held in Eskişehir on 30 March 2014, is also an active Facebook user. The analysis of the posts shared by Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt between 31 March-13 December 2014 with an aim to conduct a research on how a mayor makes use of his personal Facebook account is the subject of this study.
