For this purpose, 12 amateur swimmers, 7 females and 5 males, aged between 12-15 years, participating in competitions on behalf of Gümüşhane Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and training at least five days a week, participated voluntarily (n=12, age: 12.33±0.98 years). , height=1.51±0.14 cm, body weight=42.58±8.63 kg). Spearman Correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between the measurement results of the athletes and their swimming performance in the evaluation of the data. It was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship (p&gt;0.05) between the vital capacity (VC) and maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV) values of the athletes and 50 meters-100 meters free swimming degrees. On the other hand, there was a negative and aboveaverage significant correlation between forced vital capacity (FVC) values and 50 m swimming performance (r=-.699; p&lt;0.05). In the relationship between FVC values and 100 meters freestyle swimming degrees, there was no significant difference (r = --.636; p &lt;0.05) both negative and above the middle level. As a result, it was observed that the forced vital capacity (FVC) value, which is one of the respiratory parameters of the swimming athletes in the development group, is related to the competition degrees and that the development of respiratory parameters is important in terms of increasing the performance of the athletes.</dc:description><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/gumushane/17473</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Gümüşhane Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Dergisi</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://gumushane-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/gumushane/17473</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
