Celil</dc:creator><dc:subject>Otelcilik, Konaklama, Spor ve Turizm</dc:subject><dc:subject>İşletme</dc:subject><dc:subject>Gıda Bilimi ve Teknolojisi</dc:subject><dc:description>The aim of the study is to determine the moderator role of the commitment to the chef in\rthe relationship between the organizational commitment of the employees and their job\rperformance in institutionalized hotel kitchens. In this context, data were collected from\rthe kitchen staff of one of the national chain hotels in March-April 2019, using the survey\rtechnique (n=124). According to the findings, commitment to the supervisor and the\rorganization has significant positive effects on job performance. While the moderator role\rof income is significant in the relationship between organizational commitment and job\rperformance; it is not significant in the relationship between commitment to the supervisor\rand job performance. Employees with a high commitment to the chef show high\rperformance regardless of their income level. Organizational commitment, on the other\rhand, increases the job performance of the below-average income group, but does not create\ra significant increase in the above-average income group. Within the scope of\rorganizational commitment dimensions, the moderator role of income is significant in the\rrelationship between continuance commitment and job performance; while it is not\rsignificant in the relationship between normative-affective commitments and job\rperformance. As normative and affective commitments increase, job performance also\rincreases independently of income. On the other hand, as the continuance commitment\rincreases, the job performance of those with below-average income increases; job\rperformance of those with above-average income declines.</dc:description><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/gumushane/17075</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.21325/jotags.2022.1014</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Journal of Tourism and Gastronomy Studies</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://gumushane-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/gumushane/17075</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
