Unlike traditional AoA methods, which rely on specialized receiver architectures, the proposed approach uses the inherent angular dependence of optical filter transmission responses, known as the blue-shift effect, for directly estimating the angle of incidence from the received signal. In this context, an AoA estimation technique is developed by combining eigenvalue decomposition of the MC-VLC channel with regression analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed system achieves millimeter-level positioning accuracy, enabling robust and high-precision indoor localization without additional hardware complexity or cost.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.</dc:publisher><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/gumushane/13514</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1109/lcomm.2025.3630041</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1089-7798</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>IEEE Communications Letters</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://gumushane-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/gumushane/13514</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
